If you want to stay on the coast and enjoy sun and see, go to coast: Split, Dubrovnik, Zadar. There are lot of historic monuments in all three of them, enough to see for at least a day. Then those boat trips around islands. Brac and Hvar, they are just beautiful. Korcula is island of Marco Polo, also beautiful. On Pag there are wild summer DJ coast parties, something like on Ibiza (google for Zrce beach parties). Plitvice will also take one day to walk through. Now, on the north part of coast is Pula, ancient city, has Roman amphitheatre and several museums. Zagreb, the capital, also has several museums, art galleries, history from medieveal period. I think that 9 days will be too little to go around all that :) You have regular bus lines for all these cities, you have airports in Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, and train connects Zagreb and Split.

Is he being silly, or does he have a point?

Our youngest is 20 months and up until a couple of months ago, she always called my fiance "daddy" but now she calls him "papa." We have no clue where she picked it up from, but I think its kind of cute. Her daddy doesn't. He's been encouraging her to call him "daddy" again, but she keeps calling him "papa." Idk why but I find Yugoslavia to be an interesting topic. That being said, where do Macedonians of Yugoslavia and Slovenians come from? But with Slovenia and Macedonia, it shows (for example on wikipedia, and i know wiki isn't the best source) that Slovenia and Macedonia got their independence in 1991, which is just 20 years ago. Before the whole Yugoslavia era, and even before the ottoman empire, where did Slovenians and Macedonians come from? It seems that Bosnians, Croatians, Albanians, Montenegrins and Serbians have been in that area of south eastern europe of hundreds of years, so where did Slovenians and Macedonians come from?

Okay, I came from a family with people who were so good to me that I never was abused or anything and neither was my sister. I know from the title this sounds like a silly question. But I have seen parts of my stool (solid stool, not diarhea) look red. My hamster is small for her age?

Ok so i got a hamster and it had 5 babies and ate 3 (same old same old hamsters eat their babies). So i have the mother hamster (snooki) and the two baby hamsters (cookie wich is my sisters and franny wich is mine.) The babies are about 9 months old (september 1st). This is my first question here, and I'm hoping I will get some insightful answers. This will be lengthy and I apologize, but please allow me to explain the situation in full. I am 23 and am currently visiting my brother and sister- in- law for a couple of weeks. They have a five year old son who is a wonderful child, and generally very enjoyable to be around. However, a couple of days after I arrived, I was looking through my suitcase up in the guest bedroom when my nephew entered and closed the door behind him. I greeted him and he asked, "Want to play grown ups?" I said sure and asked him how you play. He started out by telling me we needed to go to the grocery store, preapre dinner, do the laundry. I went along with the game. Then he said it was "time to go to bed" and motioned for me to lie next to him on the floor. I obliged, not thinking anything of it, until he reached under my blouse and touched my breast. I quickly removed his hand and sat up but tried to remain calm as I know he's just a small child. I told him that was not at all appropriate and that it makes people feel very uncomfortable when they are touched in a private area, and to never do that to anyone again. He apologized to me, and then told me not to tell his parents because it would make his mommy cry if I did. Later in the evening, I did end up mentioning what happened to my sister-in-law, just to get her take on it and to make sure I had handled the situation appropriately since he is her child. She became very upset, and told me that this was very troubling because over the past several months this kind of thing has been an ongoing problem. He has been reprimanded twice at school for inappropriate touching of little girls. One incident was a kiss on the lips (that the little girl did not consent to apparently) which is probably rather innocent, but the second incident was his touching another little girl between the legs (also against the girl's will). He has an eight year old sister who has complained of having her nightgown lifted by my nephew even after repeated protestations from her. He has been told over and over and over again by teachers and his parents that acting on these body curiosities that he's having is just not appropriate and must be curbed. I completely understand that children will indeed explore things like this, but when does that type of behavior become excessive? I was compelled to ask for advice after playing with him alone again today. This time he told me we were going to play "boyfriend and girlfriend" and I told him that would be a silly game for us to play, because I am his aunt. He got off the topic and we began playing "superheroes" instead, but at one point during the game he approached me, took my face in his hands and pressed his open mouth against mine in a shockingly suggestive manner. I again tried to keep my composure and I told him that he cannot kiss me that way, that children and adults don't kiss each other that way. He responded with, "But I didn't touch your private parts this time." Perhaps I am over-reacting to this because I don't have children of my own, and I'm not a child psychologist, but his response very much alarmed me. Guilt and Anger - my dog died after getting neutered?

My dog was 12 yrs old. I brought him in to get him groomed(which is attached to vets)before I collected him they asked me to go in and see the vet. She said he was in pain and 'had' to have the operation to get neutered. He had lumps around his anus which bled sometimes or he scraped his bum along the ground. I knew that sometimes he was in pain and this was on my mind to bring him in. When she said this the lump in my throat. But I felt she was the vet and she knew best. So I said id think it over. Thing is I asked all my family n they were not really interested(family split up) although my dad said to leave him, but dad was sometimes old school mean so didnt really listen to him. I decided to go with it, they assured me they'd be watching him the whole time on a drip giving him oxygen etc..this didnt happen...My instingt told me he wasnt able for such an op, wasnt being walked enough and too old, however i felt id no1 to ask and felt silly asking people not everyone values animals(how v silly of me and this makes me so mad with myself) the night before the op i still wasnt sure - i told dad he was gonna decide when he came home from the pub - but unfortuately my brother turned up drunk banging on the door - he wasnt allowed in the house as he was too abusive etc..he wrapped on the door for hours until eventually we had to let him in - there was a row, my dog went into my bed for safety and peace - he trusted me. the next morning after v little sleep - i ordered my brother to bring the dog in for his app with the vet. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. New marking on skin, not sure what it is?

Hi everyone. I have not told anyone yet as I recently realized this but about a month ago I saw these three large pale freckle looking things on my neck. I just realized they are still there, I'm kind of worried. I tried to wash them off and scratch them off (I know thats silly but I didnt know what to do lol). I felt them and they feel SLIGHTLY different then the rest of my skin. They look like a large very light colored freckle. I was wondering what this could possibly be? I'm not sure what skin cancer looks like, I thought it only showed in freckles and moles, not make new skin markings. Could it be skin cancer? Or maybe liver spots, that older people (like around the 80's) usually get?? Do liver spots come from liver failure? Is that possible for a 20 year old? factor 50 is factor 50 whether its for kids or adults. Just be aware if you use factor 50 you will probably come home as white as you were when you went on holiday. Why not try factor 20 and just stay out a couple of hours each day till you start to go brown then go to factor 10 and stay out a little longer and you will probably be fine with that. Unless you don't want to take a tan, but factor 50 is almost total sun block. I would also suggest that even if the cream says waterproof to still apply it frequently as it rubs off on your towel or sun lounger.
