Is Croatia dangerous and if so what do you do to keep safe?

I don't know, I heard stories of Serbian people who visited Dubrovnik and the other beaches in Croatia and got assaulted and they vandalized their cars and stuff. However, as long as she doesn't make it too obvious she's Serbian, I don't think people will really notice.. Have fun!
