How come English people are in the "an English team will always be best" mindset?

Global television contracts will never let that happen. England does well because their clubs appeal to a largely Anglophone speaking world. Leagues like Spain, Germany, Italy etc. will never have the global prsence that the PL has simply because of the language barrier. If anything Spain and France have the best opportunity to grow their leagues. But then money once again comes into play... That's why the English PL is not going anywhere anytime soon
