Which processor is better?

which processor is better in between these two : (1) Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHz processor (2) Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz processor. could you tell me the difference between both of them and which one is more efficient and better all around. (ex. 32/64 bit support, L2 cache(idk what it mean), Number of cores and etc) Thank you.
